1. Who we are

Your QR Toolkit is a free browser-based tool suite. References to “we”, “us”, or “the site” mean the operators of this site. References to “you” mean any person who visits or uses the site.

2. How the tools work - browser-side processing

All QR code and barcode generation, scanning, and checking tools on this site run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. When you upload an image or enter data into any tool, that data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server. We do not receive, store, or have access to any content you process using the tools.

3. Data we collect

We collect the following data automatically when you visit the site:

• Analytics:We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised usage data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate geographic region. This data is collected via cookies and is subject to Google's privacy policy. GA4 data is used to understand which tools are most useful and to improve the site.
• Advertising:We may display ads via Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ad Settings.
• Payment data:If you make a one-time purchase to download a clean (watermark-free) file, payment is processed by Paystack. We do not receive or store your card details. Paystack's own privacy policy applies to that transaction.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or account information unless you contact us directly.

4. Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics (GA4) and advertising (Google AdSense). These are standard first- and third-party cookies used across most commercial websites. No cookies are required to use the tools themselves - they are all functional without cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling analytics and advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use any tool on the site.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with third parties except as described above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Paystack) and as required by applicable law in response to a lawful request.

6. Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data beyond anonymised analytics, most rights (access, correction, deletion) do not have practical application here. If you have a specific concern or request, contact us at thys@mjbstrategic.com and we will assist.

For requests relating to Google Analytics data, you can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
